Oh No. No Don't Fall For That!

Thanks River for jumping right up there and pushing me out of the way. I know you can't see me or anything but I really do not need the added stress today of having to watch you to make sure you don't jump out of the window when the slightest little thing of interest to you happens outside and out you go.

No Daddy, no don't do that, just move her. MOVE HER! no she's in the way, oh for goodness sakes.

OH NO. NO! Don't fall for that! She won't stick to it she can't help herself. Look quick close the window a Magpie has just landed on the lawn, you know what's gonna happen!

It's Not At Me You Stupid Cat! He Said

I wondered what the Daddies were looking at out the window but Disappears ended up saying Erghh.

When they moved away I went up there myself to see what they were making such a fuss off and saw The Magpie. I was confused why would he make Daddy go Erghh, so I tapped on the glass and asked him why the Daddies went Erghh at him.

It's not at me you stupid cat! He said.

Bit rude!

What do you mean? I asked

Down there, he said

Down there

DOWN THERE! And pointed rather aggressively

I ran out the front to see who was around. Emma was on look out so I called over to her.

There's Fox doings in the garden, he's made a challenge.

She ran off to tell the others. Red Alert!

Looky Looky

Daddy said today could end up being a very strange day something to do astrologically or something. I tend not to take much notice when he talks like that it's a very human thing that doesn't affect us cats.

Everyone is being very looky looky with each other though.

One of the Magpies, glad to see they've only sent one today to look out for me, is watching what Sarah is doing, who is watching what Emma is doing who is watching what River is doing in the window downstairs. I know it's River she's looking at I can hear her barking back.

The lighter Naughty Twin is also around but as usual is doing her own thing and having a nose next door.

Bring It On

Well it's nice to see that the patrols are still on going.

The two Magpies have been jumping around on M and R's lawn before flying up to the roof where they appear to be keeping an eye out for me. The lighter Naughty Twin has also been doing her rounds over the back fence and pacing up and down C's lawn. I guess we are on high alert again then.

If Foxy has a problem with me I do wish he would come over here and confront me with it though. Of course it's never nice having to do with humiliation and the like, well he shouldn't have been vandalising and trying to terrorise the neighbourhood then. Just goes to prove for every action there's a reaction and mine I suppose was very clear.

If only he had come in with a different attitude we could all have got along with each other, the mantra of Catworld all are welcome in Peace. However he chose the other route one of destruction and intimidation neither of course are very attractive qualities. I guess I'm getting too old for all this nonsense, you want a battle well bring it on.

Revenge Is On His Mind

The Crows just come calling. He told me that there's been rumours on their network that Foxy has returned and brought Silver Eyes with him. The purpose - revenge is on his mind.

The Crow said that he was leaving 2 Magpies to keep watch over me and who upon the slightest sign of trouble would fly direct to him and then the Land of Birds would spring into action.

Why is everyone so concerned?

Because, he told me, the word on the streets was that he was still very angry over the humiliation received and he wanted to make an example of me. His plan to send a very clear message to everyone that he was not to be messed with.

Well if someone needs to bring a mate to help them in their dirty work then it says a lot for their lack of courage. Still everyone seems to be very concerned and it's a stupid person that would ignore that so I thanks him and assured him that I would take extra care.

Wow it's actually quiet flattering that so many people are springing to my defence.

The Squirrels Were Sending Out An SOS

The magpies have come calling with urgent news.

Craig the Squirrel has been in contact with them and Squirrel Tree is in crisis. Food is at an all time low. Someone has been digging up their food storage supplies and taking it for themselves.

Well the first thing that sprung to mind was all the holes that were discovered all over the place this past week. That would make sense, my catty powers were kicking in big time.
The Squirrels were sending out an SOS they needed help.

I know daddy hasn't been putting out the monkey nuts as much recently because River keeps on eating them. There's a stash right by the back door it shouldn't be too hard for me to be able to get some out to them.

I said to the Magpie to tell Craig to go to the Peace Garden later I would make sure that there was an ample supply.

That at least should help in the short term. I'll also have to get the news across to the rest of Catworld. That was what Foxy was up to.

That's Bold

Stay daddies been doing carpentry type things today. It's always best to keep out of his way when he's at his tools, so I've spent the morning asleep in my chair in the office.

I came down about 10 minutes ago as the cleaning up operation is now officially and finally over. Daddy must have thrown some monkey nuts out for the squirrels as they are littered all over the back lawn when he finished as they weren't there when I went to bed.

I don't mind a little visit from the squirrels when the days as cold and clear as today, I find some of them really entertaining. So I sat down to wait awhile in the quiet the only sounds being a dog somewhere out the back land barking and some people walking up the road shouting out potato like Keith Lemon does when lo and behold a surprise visit. No not from the squirrels but one of the Magpies who has just jumped right in there and as if by magic stole the nuts from right under there noses. Do they have a clue? That's bold!

Bouncing & Bounding

The lighter Naughty Twin has moved on from playing the fluff game and is now playing tactical attack with the Magpie.

R came out of his house and moved his car which interrupted his previous little game and he ran up the back of their house for a little while. I could see him from my position in our office running over the garage roof before disappearing into some bushes.

When he returned two of the Magpies had settled on the front lawn and were themselves having a breakfast of worms or something like that as they kept on pecking away at the ground, not noticing the approaching twin.

He tactically hid into the bushes near the front lawn, preparing for the best attack moment I'm guessing, when they were least expecting it.

Oh dear when will they learn, the birds around here are just too smart.

Out he jumped, off they hopped onto the pathway. Off to the pathway he bounced after them, back onto the lawn they hopped, off to the lawn he bounded. They just looked at him with an almost curious indignation and then flew into the road.

I guess he thought he was then being clever by deciding to run across the road looking in another direction as if he was ignoring them before doing as sharp turn to try and come up from behind.

They really are smart those Magpies and didn't fall for it and simply flew off, leaving him looking a bit foolish as he just stood their is amazement.
