Think About Doing A 90
George is back again asking if I want to hang out. No chance it's raining and although it appears some of these crazy cats around here like the rain, I definitely hate water unless I'm taking a sip of two of it. Water is for drinking not for bathing in.
Anyway I digress the most important part of it I guess is that he's remaining constant at the moment. No way am I going to let a weeks worth of effort make me do a 180 it has maybe made me think about doing a 90.
A Late Night And A Slow Morning

It's been a late night and a slow morning here today. The girl and the boy came around and Twevors mummy flew in from another country to come and see them. This combination usually means another combination of late night, noise and me making a quick exit before I get drawn into something that really isn't my scene.
River enjoyed herself though, mind you she usually does. I do admire her happy outlook, yes I do like to think of myself as a positive person but she takes delirium to a new level. Bless her she looks so tired, fighting to keep her eyes open so I went up to her to ask her if she had a good night.
She just yawned at me.

What On Earth Is Daddy Doing!?
What on earth is Daddy doing!?
I've just caught him going out the front and feeding Emma. That in itself I don't mind, she's a sweet little thing and anything to get her out of herself I see as a good thing, however it's not just Emma that's come for a late supper.
Almost as soon as Emma turned up so did Sarah, George and the darker Naughty Twin, what is this an eat all you like buffet? George tried to push Emma out of the way but Daddy made sure she was allowed to finish her meal. Really I shall have to be having a word with that George, it's just not polite!
The Oddest Couples
A hive of cleaning activity has been taking place here this morning, ever since Stay Daddy got up. He started it yesterday, mind you he;s like it most days and then when Disappears got up he joined in. When it all moved upstairs I saw my chance to step up in the front window. River hates the hoover and was playing outside so it was a clear run.
That's when I saw the lighter Naughty Twin frolicking about outside in the rain. What on earth is she playing at, it's pouring down, mind you she seems to be enjoying herself. I wanted to have a bit of a chat with her but then the daddies came down and River came bounding in and jumped up on Stay daddies lap so that was that.
I've been feeling really close to River these days and thought I'd tell her her friend was outside. Strange how those two have become friends over this past year but hey some of the oddest couples work.
As much as I tried to say to her to look out of the window I don't think she understood as she just sat there staring at me, the occasional blink. As soon as I could see that she was getting ready to jump I thought I'd best be off, I've learnt the tell tale signs!

Pirouetting With Sharpened Wits
He kept his word. This time!
I'm not one for playing games, they don't work, effective, clear communication I hear from Daddy the whole time and I try to apply it to my life so when George turned up, on time 5 points, I thought I'd grab the bull by the horn and asked him what last Saturday night's kiss was all about?
He told me he'd been thinking about it for a while and then something at the Cat Party just made him drop his inhibitions and go for it.
GO FOR IT!
What am I a target. Don't think I was too impressed at his choice of words but 5 more points for his courage. OK come on lets hang out on the garage roof I suggested and he followed.
I cannot deny I enjoy his company, I always have but these men around here are a bit flickle, between George, Spit and Mogsie a girls gotta be on her toes and pirouetting with sharpened wits about her.
I didn't want to raise the question about where he thought this was going, I certainly didn't need to ask about him and Sarah, Spit's the father so I guess he's not going to be going back there again but I don't really fret about that sort of a situation, if I did I wouldn't be wasting anyone's time, but I was curious.
Leaving um' wanting more, not a game as such but when I felt the conversation was getting into an area I didn't feel I wanted to go yet I made my excuses, thanked him for a lovely time but I was going in now to get a bit of rest.
Same time tomorrow? He called after me.
I don't know what I may be doing but I'll see you around.
I needed some thinking time before I committed myself to anything!

He's Persistent, I'll Give Him That
George is back again. Daddy went out up the shops, came back and went straight into the kitchen, River followed him and then getting bored at not getting a treat went outside and is currently engrossed in sniffing some rubbish so I had a clear seat in the window.
I'd not been up there more that a minute when I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye and turning I saw George sitting by Daddies car.
The window wasn't open but us cats are good at lip reading so I mouthed a hello to him.
He mouthed hello back and said he's come over to see if I wanted to hang out.
Well after the last time I must admit to being reticent, I'm not about to get my head turned by the first handsome cat that comes my way especially when said cat has let you down very badly before.
Disappears Daddy has a saying, First time shame on them, second time shame on you and I can see what he means but cats just like people can make mistakes, although I admit it's a rarity, and I've been thinking that maybe something might be different this time. I've closed the door on Mogsie so many times and yet I keep on going back to see if there's any movement on the other side of the door and George has only mucked up once on me.
OK I said, but not today though, prove you mean it by coming back tomorrow at noon, then we'll see.
He looked a little disappointed but I don't care, I'm giving him the chance to earn me opening that door again, but so far he's persistent, I'll give him that.

My Night Visitors
I was just about to settle down for the evening with the Daddies, they're all excited about something on the TV, anyway there I was about to settle down when I heard a tap, tap on the front door.
I went up to the window to have a look out and saw both George and Emma outside. Great again George isn't on his own so we can't speak about Saturday night but I suppose he did come around.
He asked if I wanted to come out to hang out but I'd already set my mind to staying in tonight but I smiled and said if he was free I would tomorrow and to come on his own.
It's nice to see Emma's coming out of her shell a bit more this week as well , I do worry about her spending so much time of her own, well apart from Mogsie and Twizzle that is.
I don't know what it is this week but ever since the Cat Party this had been cat central, they've nearly all been over. I shall have to think about hosting a Christmas Party if everyone enjoyed it that much!
A Certain Someone
Sometimes nothing but a quick sharp word will do when you just want to chill out in peace and a certain someone just won't stop talking at you.
That's better, peace reigns!

Sarah Certainly Seems More Herself Today
Daddy was finally washing the windows, they don't take long to get dirty with little nose and lick marks on them, not of course from me!
When he went out to do the back River went with him to keep him company and I got a nice clear view out of the window again, that's when I saw George looking in.
I wanted to have a word with him about the other night and that kiss but I couldn't as the darker Naughty Twin and Sarah were with him. I'm guessing the Cat Party was more of a success that I thought, funny I've never thought of myself as much of a hostess before but I guess it must have hit the spot with the cats around here. Sarah certainly seems more herself today!

Splashing Around In The Bath
What a perfect evening it's turned out to be. Disappears Daddy is upstairs splashing around in the bath, Stay is dozing on the sofa and I'm sitting up here listening to River banging on about something. Well I say listening I've actually tuned out but hey a little smile every now and then and she seems pleased enough. Ah Sunday evenings can be so lovely.

Now She Knows What It Feels Like
I've been in a deep sleep most of the day still recovering from last night I guess so it was no surprise that I seemed to have slept the afternoon away.
Shame because I missed the Daddydaddy and Daddymummy being here. When I did wake I could hear a right fuss coming from River downstairs and went to investigate and make sure she was OK.
She was she was just getting herself all confused about a birthday present that the Daddy mummy had brought her, a dog that moves and barks at her.
I would have thought it was right up her street but she just couldn't understand what was going on and kept on walking towards it and away from it whenever it barked, now she knows what it feels like!
The Cat Dance Begins And The Cat Dance Is Brought To An Abrupt End
What a night, I am feeling so rough today and by the look of George I'm not the only one. Things didn't go quiet as planning last night, for a start the guest of honour didn't turn up!
After my little adventure with River last night I had a nice long sleep and woke when I heard Daddy calling out to Emma. He must have seen her walk across the road on her way here and she got waylaid as he went out and gave her some strokes. I think he felt sorry for her outside in the rain, yes RAIN. The one night of the year you don't want it and all that, it poured down so we relocated to the garage.
Maybe that's why Mogsie didn't come, the message may not have got across? Well shortly after Emma turned up, Sarah and the Naughty Twins arrived, followed by George. Bella sent her apologises but she's on baby sitting duty tonight, which I can totally understand and Twizzle, like me never ventures across the road so I assumed she wouldn't be able to make it.
Off we started with the now sodden Dreamies but hey close your eyes and you can imagine them being covered in milk which made the damp taste of slightly more palatable but they really are not the same unless they crunch in your mouth as you chew them.
After a little chatter, I noticed Sarah was acting a strange and asked her what was up? She told me she'd eaten some stuff outside and it was making her feel all light headed but not in a bad way, just a bit relaxed and sleepy. I decided to keep a bit of an eye on her but decided to go over and have a bit of a chat with Emma. She's been keeping herself so much to herself these days that now I had the chance I thought I'd pounce on it and ask her how she was finding it living with Mogsie and Twizzle. Apparently she's still living in the hallway but it suits her. I then heard George and the Naughty Twins beginning to purr in unison, brilliant the parties really starting.
Sarah was gently rocking back and forth a grin all over her face and the Naughty Twins were beginning to swing together, a Cat party is a very personal experience and can affect us cats in different ways. George looked over to me and gave me a grin. I felt my own feet beginning to move and before I knew it I was dancing with Emma around the garage, jumping up on the walls to bounce off, round and round we went, faster and faster in time with the music. The Cat Dance had begun and soon we were all speeding round together apart form Sarah who just sat in the middle staring, the sound of George and the Naughty Twins spread to the rest of us and we all tuned in together, the noise distorted by our running into something reminiscent of the sound a wet finger makes on the top of a wide topped glass when moving around the rim. Oh heady times.
When you get caught up in the Cat Dance time goes and a minute could be a day, a day could be a second, time changes when the Cat Dance takes over, we move as one, the time of the past becomes the time of the now and images of time appeared to me on the walls as I ran. It felt like it was in slow motion but in reality I was travelling at vast speed. Some made sense, some maybe will, time will tell her secrets.
Then bang, a pot was caught by someone of there way around and fell smashing to the floor We all stood still looking and panting the Cat Dance brought to an abrupt end! George walked straight up to me, kissed me, turned and disappeared through the broken garage door. Emma and the Naughty Twins ran after him without a word, Sarah just sat there grinning at me.

When The Cats Arrive
I've kept out of Stay Daddies way today, he's had a tense 24 hours and I didn't want my buzz of the Cat Party to be ruined by him but I did fancy a bit of attention before I went out so I went up to Disappears for a bit of a stroke.
I'm very excited about tonight, a Cat Party, a proper Cat Party is a rare occasion and one when called can attract a lot of attention. I've been squirrelling away Dreamies for the past few days, pretending I wouldn't eat my dinner unless Daddy gave me extra. It worked!
We're meeting at 11 it possible it could go on all night and as I've not seen anyone much around today I'm assuming everyone's getting themselves prepared.
I don't like to stress so I did my preening early. I was right it didn't take long for River to disturb me and chase me but I am in a good mood so I let her run after me for a while before jumping out of her way. She can't get up by AloHa so I can still chill out until it's time to go out and from this position I can see when the cats arrive!

Hey, Hey I'm The Mogsie
Here I come
Walking down the street
I get the loveliest looks from
Everyone I meet
Hey, hey I'm the Mogsie
And people say I swagger around
But I'm too busy chilling
To put anybody down
I go wherever I want to
And do what I like to do
The only time that I get restless
Is when I don't know you
Hey, hey I'm the Mogsie
And people say I swagger around
But I'm too busy chilling
To put anybody down
I'm just trying to be friendly
So come and watch me chill and play
A part of the cat generation
And I've got so much to say.

Anyway, He Opened The Door And I Run In
Well it didn't take too long for the word to get out that Mogsie was back up and running/protecting Catworld, Doublay's just come-a-calling.
Daddy popped down to see what mischief River's been getting up to, when she's quiet you know it;s time to investigate, and he left the office door open. I didn't mind too much today I've been feeling really sleepy and bless him but he's not the quietest person to be around when he's working, all that non-stop chatter can sometimes drive you a little crazy when all you want to do is sleep.
Anyway, he open's the door and I run in, wanting to claim my space on my chair for the afternoon but couldn't because the remnants of which looks like a crisp sandwich are scattered all across it. It's a shock when you jump up and skid on a plate but my deft cat feet are a bonus and I sprang delicately up onto the window ledge just in time to see Mogsie walking away in one direction and Doublay walking away in the other.
Damn I've missed all the action, but neither seemed to be in an agitated state so I feel I can safely assume they had a nice little chat and Doublay was just coming to see how he was. Ah peace reigns once again in Catworld. Just as I like it!

Ah The Impatience Of Youth

Finally Daddy decided to go downstairs and I followed him. I thought he was going to give us some treats, River of course was jumping around all over the place in anticipation, but he picked up the post and stood at the table reading it without taking much notice of us. River was very excitable when she saw him and doubly so when she saw me, making a right hullabaloo just as I was trying to read what it was that he'd got in the post.
Hang on I called to her, learn some patience but I don't think she really understood she just stood there whinging at Daddy and looking rapidly at him and then at me. Ah the impatience of youth!
The card, a wedding invitation, oh how exciting.

Lying In The Gutter
I've been up with Daddy in the office all day, true I've been drifting in and out of sleep and so have not seen everything that's been going on today but the few times I have looked outside I've seen the lighter Naughty Twin, here, there and everywhere apart from where I expected her to be. I.e.with her kittens.
The first time I saw her lying in the gutter, not the best place to be at any time, What is going on with her, I know she was very comfy at M and R's but she really should be spending a little more time with her kitty cats, I hope she's OK!
