One Of The Wood Pigeon's Has Left Us

Now I know what the Crow was calling out about, one of the Wood Pigeon's has left us. I was just sitting up with Daddy in the window when I spotted them him in the mouth of a very distressed Sarah.

Oh this is terrible, a loss of one of the beautiful Wood Pigeons, today is a very sad day!

The Crow Has Called

It must be nice for Twizzle to finally be getting some of her home back, now that mother and babies have returned home. She was just out with R enjoying some of the late afternoon sunshine when her peace was disturbed by the Crow flying in low, settling on a chimney and calling.

Twizzle is right to be concerned, when the Crow calls it's a call to arms for the Land of the Birds, something must be amiss, we are all connected and a call to arms for one, means a call to arms for all.

Probably Trying To Keep His Head Low. Yeah Take Shame!

It's unseasonally warm today for it being an October but it does mean one thing, us cats are out and about today. It's not too warm to make us sleepy but it's warm enough to just sit and enjoy the day go by, listening to the sounds of the Sparrow Sister flying about having a gossip. Even the faint bark of some dog that lives up the back of M's is not even bothering me or ruining my chilled mood.

R's been trying to cut his lawn but Mogsie's been out and about and kept on sitting on the patch that R wanted to cut. Nice to see he's getting his spirit back again.

He;s also been watching the movement of the lighter Naughty Twin and her two kittens back over the road to where they actually do live, not that you'd know it the amount of time they spend over M's.

The Cat Party didn't take place last night, I guess I didn't give myself enough time to prepare and a Cat Party, a real Cat Party I mean, is not something to be rushed! It;s a very special occasion. I am however going to plan for it to be next Saturday night. The Daddies have finished mucking about in the garden for a while so I can now see what I've got to work with, we're definitely having it up by the back of the garage, out of the way of prying eyes.

Spit's also still missing. He seems to do a bit of a runner whenever there's new babies around but he turns back up after a couple of weeks. Probably trying to keep his head low. Yeah take shame!

A Lot Harder

He's Been To See The Kittens

He's been to see the kittens, Stay Daddy that is. When he was unloading the car earlier he spotted M and said he'd pop over to see them. He told me that when he came in and I was waiting eagerly when I saw him going back over.

When he came back he showed me some photo's that he'd taken off them, the lighter Naughty Twin looks in good health and her twin kittens are enough to melt any heart.

At times like these I do miss the girls and Charlie.

Just Stand Back From The Spray Can

I fancied a quiet afternoon so I decided to set River up to get her out of my hair. She was asleep on her chair and I loudly jumped up on the table and peered out of the window, ignoring her when she called up to me to see what was going on.

I could see the Daddies out of the window, they're still in playing in the garden mood and are trying to get something sorted where the house of glass used to be. Still not quiet over the fact that they took it down without my permission but it's done now and it's keeping them quiet. 

It;s always a bit fateful when they get themselves into this sort of mood, talking about what they will do, realise they could make a change if only they went and got the materials and the shop in question not being too far away usually means they start almost as soon as they've had the idea.

The only problem with this shop is they sell spray paint as well and the Daddies get themselves a bit excited where colours concerned and spray paint anything that doesn't move. We now have a golden worm, marvellous just step back from the spray can.

I'm Even Beginning To Relax

You know what over this past week or two River really has started to behave herself around me and you know what I'm quite liking this new well behaved dog. 

I'm even beginning to relax around her myself without worrying she's going to try and sniff my nether regions.

I Sense Some Tension

I sense some tension between Sarah and Mogsie, I've just seen them out the window. 

Mogsie was on a bit of a walkabout across the gardens, I bet he is so pleased to be able to wander around at will again I know he was getting depressed with not being able to clean himself and come outside, when I saw Sarah hiding under R's car.

Mogsie walked right by and didn't even glance in her direction, as soon as he passed she picked herself up and walked off, all very strange I wonder what it can be?

A Double Celebration

It truly is a week for surprises here, I've just heard from Twizzle

You will never believe what has happened today!   It's nothing to do with
Mogsie, thank goodness.   The lighter Naughty Twin has just had two kittens
in Mogsie's kennel!   My Mum couldn't believe what she saw when she looked
in it.   A little white one and a little dark one.  What are we going to do?

OMG thanks for letting me know I bet that was a massive surprise, I saw
Mogsie and George chatting intently earlier on today I bet it must have been
about that. How cute and truly a celebration week for Catworld although I'm
surprised your mummies not having kittens herself with everyone moving in or
giving birth there. I want to say don't tell Daddy because I know him he'll
want them but I will pass the message over as I'm sure he'll want to come
and see them.

Those Two

Those two have gone out, Daddy said he wanted to take River to the woods for a birthday treat, nice it gets them out of my hair for a while.

It gave me a chance to come downstairs and see what's going on outside. Now I wonder what those two are up to, George and Mogsie are deep in conversation and something tells me it's not just a catch up, they're being too secretive for that!

Get Prepared - Yes I Agree A Miracle

What a lovely morning I've had asleep up with Daddy in the office. Like River I've got my own blanket that nanny made to sleep on so we don't have to share one and I was just snoozing away on mine when I heard Daddy finish his call and tell me to get prepared. I should have guessed what was coming, only one thing indoors that I ever have to be prepared about, River was coming.

He went downstairs and brought her up calling my name.

*Deep breath* and I jumped onto the floor, if she did get herself over excited I'd have a clear route through the doorway and down the stairs, River can't do wooden stairs so I knew I'd be OK.

Well in she walked, I think a little surprised at being allowed up here and walked up to me slowly, well if she's willing so am I, it is her birthday after all. So I went up to her and nearly touched my nose on her's, good the shower she was caught in this morning has cleaned some of that mud off her and what with the spray Disappears Daddy put on her she's smelling very nice today.

I didn't want to chance my luck and when she blinked twice I thought I could see something going through her mind so I jumped up onto the window ledge, just to remove temptation, and I have to agree with Stay Daddy, yes, it'a a miracle!

Happy Birthday River - Is He Taking The Mick?

Oh we were up so early this morning, I wondered what all the fuss was about and then I heard the daddies saying Happy Birthday to River. Wow that's crept up on us, I can remember when she first came here a shy, tiny, tiny ball of fluff who slept most of the day. Happy days indeed!

Disappears daddy took River out and I stayed indoors with Stay until they came back and then after hearing a lot of hullabaloo downstairs I thought I'd best make an appearance.

Just in time to watch River pull egg all over the floor, she really hasn't learned many table manners this past year. Still it's her birthday I'm not going to be telling her off or anything so I called over Happy Birthday. I feel a bit bad for not getting her a present myself but I'm sure I was included in the stuff that the daddies brought her.

 Well she certainly seemed to be liking her teddies, I think I'll attach my name to those.

I'm not so chuffed with the ball with a cats face on it, is he taking the mick or what?

A Sight For Sore Eyes

Ah such a sight for sore eyes, so glad he's back. I think I'll just sit here a while and watch him.

If He Get's It Done In Time

Daddies been out in that garden again this afternoon, doing all sorts of pulling things around and sweeping and things, tidying up some of the mess he made at the weekend but it all seems to be a part of his plan, whatever it is that he's up to.

I decided to keep out of it and see what he'd done once the tools are put away, he's never the safest person to be around when he had things in his hands.

I couldn't quite see what he was up to from there so I decided to go and take a closer look but it's a jump from one roof to another and I've never really liked taking it but he's closed the bedroom window so I guess my only option is to go forwards.

Um well, if I stretch maybe I can see it from here.

No. No option here I go.

Right I must tread carefully up here I'm always hearing daddy say that.

Um well, it's a start I suppose. If he gets in done in time it'll be a perfect venue for the Cat Party on Saturday, just out the way enough for us not to be spotted from indoors.

A Fly-By

The Gooses from the lake have just done as fly-by tribute to Mogsie, to celebrate his recovery and return to Catworld.

I knew it was coming the darker Naughty Twin told me as she passed by earlier. I also asked her to spread the world Cat Party Saturday night at mine, I'm so excited!

Mogsie Is Back!

He's back, he's back, Oh my I'm so excited Mogsie is back!

I was just up with the daddies and River, they've been out in the garden tearing down the house of glass which doesn't make me that happy I've got some good memories of that place, and they have just come in.

I came downstairs I've been watching out the office window all day and haven't spotted him and now as soon as I take my eye off the ball there he is.

I feel so happy and I'm not the only one, he has a reception waiting. Get the bunting out the cat party preparations are a go.

The Most Wonderful News

The most wonderful news, I've just had a communication from Twizzle and it seems our hero may well be joining us tomorrow.

Very important news!

Can you spread the word.   Providing that Mogsie doesn't do anything silly
today, he can return to be the Protector of CatWorld tomorrow!   Isn't that
marvellous, he won't be moping around indoors any more and won't be wearing
that horrible green collar!   And then perhaps the lighter Naughty Twin will
stop sleeping in his kennel in my garden and go home.   I don't think that
she has left my garden since he's been not well.

Anyway spread the word and perhaps they'll be a welcoming committee waiting
to greet him.   I'll try to make sure that he comes out of the front door so
that you can be the first to see him.

And as it turned out an acutely accurate description, boy that cat was a vicious bitch. Mind you as soon as the humans changed their attitude although she was still hard faced at least she wasn't directly attacking there heads any more.
