Thanks River for jumping right up there and pushing me out of the way. I know you can't see me or anything but I really do not need the added stress today of having to watch you to make sure you don't jump out of the window when the slightest little thing of interest to you happens outside and out you go.

Word Must Be Out

The word must be out on the street, Chameleon has turned up out of the blue and not at his allotted time. He's keeping a constant eye on the coming and going's happening here.

You And I Have History

Doublay has just turned up. He said the darker Naughty Twin had told him what happened and was still searching for George and would bring him back. Doublay said he was just going to go across the road and get the lighter Naughty Twin to also join us as by DNA default she she was linked in, even if she hadn't been visited by Troy or had the ability to communicate with me.

She's been over there all morning keeping guard on Emma who by all accounts is still in her trance.

I was so glad to see Doublay but come on George, you and I have a history and you make me feel safe when you are around.  

The Answers Just Couldn't Find A Route In My Mind

After yesterday's events with the Easter island Head my own heads been spinning nearly out of control.

LUM spoke to me and it was all beginning to make a weird kind of sense, it had all been foretold by Troy, in bits to George, and Doublay and the darker Naughty Twin. It was very clear the message that had been given, when LUM spoke she would be coming, we would be asked for help and The Queen of Catkind would be returning. That voice in The Lane of Bells that was calling out for my help was her, she had been trapped there for goodness knows how long and none of us ever knew, we just knew that Queen had been lost and now she is found.

I initially thought the best thing to do was to return to The Lane of Bells but George had been warned he couldn't return there a third time it would be too dangerous but how on earth could we rescue her?

All night I've been thinking about this, all night pacing up and down and the answers just couldn't find a route in my mind, there was only one thing for it. I needed to gather everyone together, yes that was right gather everyone together and then we could try and piece together the pieces.

I came downstairs when Stay Daddy started to stir it was then that I heard a calling from outside and jumped into the front window to see who was calling my name.

Lil', LIL'!

I looked out to see the darker Naughty Twin sitting there.

LIL' something terrible has happened.

What is it?

Lil' it's Emma. Emma has gone into a trance and I can't bring her out of it.

WHAT!

I was astounded, things were getting out of control.

I need to tell you something too, I said

LUM has spoken. The Queen of Catkind has called. She needs our help!

His mouth dropped open.

Our Queen has spoken?

Yes, I nodded. Now can you gather Doublay and George together and bring them back  here, we need to speak.

He nodded.

I'll go and search for them right away and then Lil', then I think it's time I told you about everything Troy Lamore told me.

Yes, I nodded again, yes I think that's exactly what you need to do! 

HELP ME!

River and the Daddies have just come in after being out all afternoon. I was so pleased to see everyone, I must admit to have being a bit bored and so when River went running up the back to torment the lighter Naughty Twin who was just having a little afternoon snooze in Squirrel Tree I joined her.

That's when I heard it.

Daddy always says prepare to expect the unexpected at the least expected time, I've always thought he was a bit of a blabberer but I now understand exactly what he was talking about.

Right up there, right in the Peace Garden just as I was about to follow River back indoors, right out of the Easter Island Head's mouth I heard it, faint at first but by the second time I could clearly hear a voice.

Help me. HELP ME.

I was so shocked, I hadn't even thought of seeing if LUM would be speaking to me today. Not only was I surprised and caught off guard that he spoke, it was because I'd heard those words and that voice before. Yes it was the same voice as I'd heard with George in The Lane of Bells, calling out the chilling same words.

Work With Us Or Work Against Us

Boy it must be hot out there today, the sun is shining bright and Daddies even been out in it and it's got to be very warm for him to sit in it but I can't feel the heat anymore so it doesn't bother me.

The lighter Naughty Twin has plonked herself on our front grass, it's a little shady this time of the afternoon, luckily River's mucking about in the back garden so she's not being disturbed.

I see even Chameleon is behaving himself and waiting patiently in the shade for his Dreamies drop off, I guess he's got the hint, work with us or work against us but we won't be bullied!

Ah So That's What They Were Looking For

Ah so that's what they were looking for, buried Dreamies left out for Chameleon, I've just seen them both dig them up wolf them down. I'm not sure if the deal is off and they've come up with another plan or they are just trying to teach Chameleon a lesson for throwing his weight around. Oh come over Doublay this list of things I need to speak to you about is growing by the day.

Investigation

Not sure what's going on but Doublay and the lighter Naughty Twin are on some sort of an investigation. all over the garden.

I hope they hurry up I want Doublay to come over so I can ask him to speak to Mogsie for me, who by the way is watching them and having a clean like he's not got a care in the world. He really is confusing me.

Camouflage

Ever since Mogsie left I've been sitting here waiting for Doublay or George to come around so I can ask them to talk to him for me. I really want to clear things up and know where he's coming from and see if there's something I can do to make the whole situation better but there's nothing I can do unless I know what's going on with him.

Finally I saw Doublay over the other side of the road and went to call out to him but on the first shout he didn't hear me and I stopped myself from trying a second time as he started to camouflage himself in some bushes.

Must admit, good hiding place, I wouldn't have spotted him unless I had seen him getting into position.

A Different Way

I'm feeling a bit, well a big hurt and confused to be honest. 

I was out with the Daddies in the back garden searching for Nadia, no luck, and then when they got distracted playing with River I decided I'd had enough and came in and sat in the front window, that's when I spotted Mogsie sitting on the pathway.

I've no idea how long he'd been there but he was just staring in, a fixed look on his face but there when I looked at him there was a little glint of recognition, a little something in his eye, I'm sure he could see me and I called out to him. 

Unless I'm imagining things his ears twitched, just a millimeter, but I'm sure he heard me but he didn't say anything or make a move closer of anything.

About 10 minutes we sat there just staring at each other before he got up and walked off. I know everyone deals with this sort of thing in a different way but I just wish Mogsie was dealing with it in a different way from the way he is.

Size Doesn't Matter

The darker Naughty twin has been keeping watch-out most of the afternoon and there's no sign of Chameleon. Who knew a quick slap down from one of the smallest members of Catworld and Chameleon would be brought back in line, just goes to show size doesn't matter.

Oh Dear I Shouldn't Giggle, But Just This One Time I'm Going To Enjoy The Moment

Oh dear I shouldn't giggle but I just couldn't help myself.

Chameleon has just boldly tried to walk up Mogsie and Twizzles pathway but the darker Naughty Twin was enjoying the last of the evening sun and spotted him. In the blink of an eye he was across that pathway and slapped Chameleon right around his face, firmly putting him in his place. It must have been a shock for Chameleon as he instantly backed down and walked off, literally with his tale between his legs.

I know Chameleon needs putting in his place but we do need him on side, but just this one time I'm going to enjoy the moment.

Let's Wind Up The Dogs!

We've all been up very early this morning, Disappears Daddy is really getting into some project elsewhere but none of us mind, it means we're catching the beautiful weather as soon as we can. 

I was sitting down with Stay Daddy and River who is enjoying barking at the backdoor, she's keen to get out and have a chat with her friends over the fence, when I spotted Mogsie and the darker Naughty Twin having a deep conversation over the road.

I'm not sure exactly what they were talking about but all of a sudden the darker Naughty Twin got up, nodded, headed over the garage and over their back fence and then all of a sudden the dog that lives over the back of them started barking furiously. 

Ah I see it's a cat fun day, let's wind up the dogs! 

A Wide Birth

Well Doublay didn't come back and after about an hour the lighter Naughty Twin decided enough was enough, stood up, stretched and walked off, not even looking backwards. 

However Doublay must have caught up with Chameleon as I've just seen him crossing the road and although he's still making his presence felt he was certainly giving me a wide birth.

There's Nothing Like A Cat

Thank goodness the rains stopped and the cats are out to play, Doublay and the lighter Naughty Twin were both going for a stroll and I was able to call Doublay over. I wasn't sure what to say to the lighter Naughty Twin knowing what I know now about his/her challenging situation but luckily she still can't see me so there was nothing that could have been given away by my face.

Anyway I told Doublay what happened yesterday with Chameleon making a break-in to our back garden and his face said he was not happy. 

I suspected this might happen, he said, give him an inch and he takes a mile but don't worry Lil' I'll deal with this and off he walked.

As he was walking off he asked the lighter Naughty Twin to stick around for a while to make sure that if Chameleon turned up when he was gone that she could report back directly to him what happened and it gave me a chance to try to communicate with her.

I say try because as much as I called her name she didn't react but it was nice to have her around and for a while I just sat next to her listening to the sound of her breathing. I've missed the close company of my cat friends, dogs and humans are great but there's nothing like a cat!

Brazen

OMG this is getting out of control.

Everyone was settled down in front of the TV for the evening when all of a sudden there was a great big bang on the fence that made everyone jump.

Look, screamed Daddy before we all ran up the back of the room and looked out into the garden to see Chameleon slinking his way up towards the Peace Garden before jumping over the back wall. I've been seeing him pace up and down the road tonight but I had no idea he would be brazen enough to come into the garden. This is being reported back to everyone tomorrow, oh dear this really is getting out of hand.

What Went Down

Chameleon has just come by, demanding his Dreamies. 

I thought that Doublay had managed to sort him out a bit, you know got him to calm down and stop walking around like king of the hill, but as I've not seen Doublay since his *clears throat* conversation with Chameleon on Friday so I've not managed to catch up with exactly what went down.

The trouble is I've still not managed to master moving things yet and so was a bit stuck as to what to say. Thinking about it, it was a bit of a fatal flaw in my part of the plan.

I wasn't scared but did what Daddy does when he's trying to avoid people who come calling unannounced and ducked down out of sight. I do hope he didn't see me, there's no way I want him thinking I'm scared of him. 

Dance With The Devil

Oh dear what have we done, dance with the devil and the devil dances with you. I'm beginning to regret getting Chameleon involved in our plans as he now seems to be thinking that he can throw his weight around here. 

He's just walked bold as brass right across Tony's lawn, right under Mogsie and Twizzles window, dirty looked the darker Naughty Twin and walked right up the side of the house as if to go into his back garden.

He then walked right over here, looked into the window and grinned.

Luckily Doublay spotted him and as he passed he just looked up and said;

Don't worry Lil', I'll sort this.

And followed him up C's pathway.

I couldn't see what was going on but could hear a heated exchange of words. I wasn't the only one, River, coming back from her walk tried to run up the path to get at them both. That would have broken up the row but luckily Daddy had a tight grip on her.

He Said

Doublay has just popped by, he said, to explain himself. He said he saw me looking at him and Mogsie having a bit of a to-do yesterday and he didn't want me to worry. It was a tactic, he said, to try to ingratiate himself with Chameleon after his fight with him last week.  

I asked him if Mogsie was in on it and he said that he was. That brought me great relief, all long as Mogsie is in on a plan then they have my full support.

I asked why he needed to ingratiate himself with Chameleon again and he said there was two reasons. The first to keep him and Foxy Lectar onside the second was because he was going to need Chameleons help again really soon.

I asked him why and he said because we were going to need his muscle. I asked him what for and he looked me straight in the eye;

I think you know why Lil'!

I knew what he was talking about but wanted confirmation that I wasn't making assumptions.

The curse?
