Fog

There's been the thickest fog I think I can ever recall seeing all over Catworld this morning. It was there first thing before the sun came up and it's only just abated this last half an hour. Of course this has meant keeping a watchful eye out for Flash, Foxy or Chameleon has been almost impossible.

Now that it has cleared I'm right out there keeping guard over this part of Catworld, they're not getting past me without a fight.

I'm Off!

As soon as I saw the tinsel I knew what was coming.

Not A Second To Spare

Mogsie's out a call to arms, all MUST attend the Cat Council meeting to discuss today's developments.

The lighter Naughty Twin was making her way back from down the road, I think she may have some information she looks in a determined mood.

George was running as fast as he could, with not a second to spare.

Sarah called by on her way over. I told her I couldn't go, it would mean crossing the road and I never cross the road. She said she'd come back with information and true to her word she did.

Mogsie wasn't happy I hadn't gone across, but neither had Bella so I wasn't the only one in hot water. Flash and Chameleon where planning another attack and Foxy was involved, the other night had been a trial run and they were planning to catch us unaware.

I don't like the smell of this, what are we to do?

He Didn't Spot Me

Mogsie said that I should remain in the window and keep a look out and he was going to go and search to see if he could find Chameleon and off he went.

After about 10 minutes, with me still in the window, Chameleon appeared. He didn't spot me so I could observe him and what he was up to. He just sniffed the floor before running off over the road and up the side of E's house.

I waited for Mogsie to appear and called him back over, filling him in on what I'd seen.

He said he was going off to spread the word and it's best if I keep River in this morning, Chameleon's a wild canon and could do anything, That's what I love about Mogsie, always looking out for all of us, even if it's a dog!

Brief But I Was Sure

I was just looking out at the back garden all covered in frost again when I saw what I thought was Sarah running along the back fence, however it couldn't be Sarah, she's not that big and then all of a sudden my heart leapt into my mouth and I leapt up the stairs.

There running across C's back garden was Chameleon, it was brief but I was sure.

I ran out the front to see if he would come down the pathway but he didn't reappear. Luckily Mogsie was having a little stretch over the other side of the road and I called him over and told him. Flash may not be making his presence felt but Chameleon was.

Move back up to red alert!

My Boys Have Come Out

My boys have both come out. I guess everyone had a bit of a sleep in today. George is regaining his strength

Mogsie came forward and we chatted across the road. We can step down to amber alert Mogsie said, but must still remain on our guard as there's still something in the air but we can enjoy our initial victory.

I love my boys! 

And With That She Was Off!

After the events of last night I awoke late. I could hear the Daddies sorting River out in the bathroom and thought it best if I stayed up here out of the way and see if I could catch anyone's eye to find out if there was any more news or developments.

Eventually the lighter Naughty Twin came by and spotting me she stopped and called up. I ran down and out into the garden ahead of me was River, if I just crept up behind her she wouldn't spot me. 

The lighter Naughty Twin said that she'd followed him down the road after her ran away and went back under the tunnel. He'd certainly been run out of town, but any news of Flash?

Well, she said, that's another matter. 

After George set the dogs off he'd crept around our back and Craig said he'd heard that they were still planning and the next move wasn't known. She was off to liaise with Craig.

Isn't she active! How do you put up with all that spinning?

You get used to it!

And with that she was off!

Tonight Was The Night Foxy Lectar Made His Move!

The girls came over to visit us all today, River as usual went mad all over the place doing her spinning jumps, which I must admit is cute and at least having the girls over helped with with keeping her occupied as tonight was the night, Foxy Lectar made his move!

I positioned myself quietly at the back on the table looking out of the window and there are expected, just as darkness fell, the lighter Naughty Twin made an appearance, telling me that word of the street was Foxy was on his way. 

I was just about to get my instructions when River came bounding out and ran her away so I had to follow her over the fence where she told me we had about 20 mins as he was going to wait until it was just so dark as to try to confuse anyone who may be walking by.

She said that I was no longer needed under the car as Bella was down there but could I stay in the window and look over the other side of the road and down a bit, George was covering the other side doing the same for this side. Whoever spotted him first was to indicate to the other so everyone could get their hunches up.

Fortunately Daddy then called us in for dinner, I needed and sustenance and so was pleased it was chicken for dinner tonight. 

I then went in and got into position. River joined me and I tried to explain to her that she must stay in tonight. I'm not sure she understood what I was trying to say as she just looked blankly back at me.

Still it did mean I could keep look over her while she feel into an after dinner slump.

My other eye was on the outside and sure enough Foxy crept up the road, hiding behind one of the cars on the other side.

I winked across to George who raised himself up. Us cats are interconnected and I felt the whole of Catworlds hackles raise in unison, even though I was inside our electricity spread and I sent out my rage to my comrades. Foxy got to the point between mine and Mogsie's and out everyone ran. Sarah, Bella, Mogsie and both the Naughty Twins, all at once. George started the dogs off at the back but it being nighttime we had to do without the birds help.

It worked he ran down the road as fast as his legs could take him all of a blur. No sign of Flash though!

It's Not At Me You Stupid Cat! He Said

I wondered what the Daddies were looking at out the window but Disappears ended up saying Erghh.

When they moved away I went up there myself to see what they were making such a fuss off and saw The Magpie. I was confused why would he make Daddy go Erghh, so I tapped on the glass and asked him why the Daddies went Erghh at him.

It's not at me you stupid cat! He said.

Bit rude!

What do you mean? I asked

DOWN THERE! And pointed rather aggressively

I ran out the front to see who was around. Emma was on look out so I called over to her.

There's Fox doings in the garden, he's made a challenge.

She ran off to tell the others. Red Alert!

Everyone's Getting In On The Act!

Twizzle is just taking R for his walk and although on the surface everything looks normal, I can see her keeping her eye's peeled for any signs of intruder activity. Things must be very serious if Twizzle's involved, she's like me a delicate cat, although I've heard tales that she can fight if pushed to her limit, oh Foxy Lectar and Flash had better watch out!

Yes, Thank You I Know How To Hide Under A Car!

Saturday morning and I'd been hoping for peace but no that was not to be, River was up and in playful mood. The Daddies managed to grab her and keep her occupied so that I could have some alone time in the window which is when I saw George acting very strangely.

He kept on looking under the cars and moving between a couple of them. I was trying to work out what he was doing when I saw the lighter Naughty Twin come running from around the back of Mogsie's house. She spotted me and came running over.

News on the cat information network had come through that Flash and Foxy may be on the attack tonight and everyone was preparing. 

I asked where the information had come from and she said that Ginger cat had heard some rumblings and contacted Mogsie and he'd come up with a plan. As soon as it was dark he wanted all of us to hide under any cars, keep out of sight and when they appeared we could all pounce. Oh my heart was pumping, I hate this sort of thing but in times of trouble we must not run, we must work together as a common collective, putting aside our own views.

Well OK then if that's what's needed to teach them a lesson, that's what we must do.

The lighter Naughty Twin then dived under Daddies car and said that was the way to hide.

Yes, thank you but I know how to hide under a car!

Sharpening Those Claws

There's some occasions where River's inquisitive nature is a gift from the universe. I was asleep in bed upstairs, Daddy had shut the door to get on with things and it's way too cold for me to be outside today. I woke up and everything was covered white, I thought it was snow at first but when the sun came up I saw it was frost, brrr.

Anyway, there I was sleeping away when bark, bark, bark, bark, bark woke me up. She's been on the ball recently so as soon as I heard her I jumped up onto the window and looked out just in time to catch a tiny glimpse of Flash's tail disappearing into Squirrel Tree.

By the time Daddy was out calling River in and so I ran into the office and luckily George and the lighter Naughty Twin were out there. The window was open so I called over what I had seen. George just nodded by the lighter Naughty Twin was apoplectic and started clawing away at the floor, sharpening those claws.

After I passes the message I went back to keep a closer eye on Squirrel Tree. I must try and catch Craig see if he's over heard anything.

Trial Run

Yes it's been definitely confirmed Foxy and the New Cat Crew are planning a take over. This past three days River has keep on barking at the back fence but until yesterday no one knew who at. I thought Craig but I was wrong, it was Flash I saw him skulking in Squirrel Tree yesterday and reported it to the lighter Twizzle when she was on her morning walk.

She went and told Mogsie who called a cat council meeting. We needed to prepare our battle plan and today we had a trial run.

The sign that we are under attack, if it's during the day time is for any of us to lift our leg in the air as if we were having a little yoga stretch. We then all spread out slowly as if we are minding our own business and after making sure we are circling whichever on of them is around then move in together until they are cornered from all sides and stuck inside the ring of cats. It's a tactic us cats down use unless we have to, it's not nice for whoever is stuck within but we need to scare hard and fast and show that we are working as one unit.

George has the specific job of look out night and has been practising his route across the road, pasted our back fence, over to his, then back across over to E's place, across the back where when he gets the signal we are in place in the circle he's to wind up the dogs at the back of M's so that they start barking at that sound the birds, if it's during the day they must sleep at night, will swoop down wings-a-flapping. We aim to scare and confuse with everything happening at once, that should teach them not to mess with us!

The More Interesting Development Of The Day

Strange day it's been so far. I saw Mogsie and George nearly have a fight first thing watched by Twizzle from her spot in the window. Luckily M and R came out and stopped them, oh those boys.

But the more interesting development of the day, a visit from Doublay.

It was about an hour after those boys were being scallywags, Emma was sitting nice and peacefully under the car and up their pathway Doublay walked. He looked a little unsure as to what to do as he walked back down it again before turning and walking back up. He must have spoken to Emma becasue I saw her look over her shoulder and say something behind her and within about 30 seconds out Mogsie came.

Mogsie and Doublay then walked a couple of hours up and chatted behind the bushes for a few minutes before Doublay went up the road and Mogsie came back to his house, standing on the pathway, looking left and then right.

 He stayed there for a couple of minutes before returning to his back garden. I've kept my eyes peeled ever since to see if I can catch him but he's not returned yet. I feel something may be imminent!

The Perfect Present For All Concerned

What a busy day it's been today, first we had that visit from the girl and the boy and then the Daddymummy came to see us. 

She brought River and me some presents, I got Dreamies, um my favourite, thanks Daddymummy. River luckily got stuff to keep her both occupied and quiet, the perfect present for all concerned.

Impressive

I was just in the window with Stay Daddy trying to catch Mogsie's attention to see if there's any more news on Foxy or Flash but he had his back to me and I couldn't really catch his attention.

I then saw the boy and the girl draw up. I really like them both they always include me and give me strokes and ask how I am.

I also like them coming around as they keep River occupied so I can get on with my own business, although I do like to stick around for a bit to catch up on the gossip about Flo and Phoebe, apparently they had a hair cut yesterday. Oh I don't think I'd like that I see what happens when River needs a sort out.

River loves the boy, he always spends ages playing with her. I've got to say River your jumping really is getting impressive!
