At Least I've Shown Willing

Daddy is doing painting things, and I've learnt whenever he's out a paint brush in his hand it's best for me to be anywhere else so I ventured outside into the front garden, paint fumes never been my favourite perfume.

That's when the darker Naughty Twin walked my, I think it shocked her as she stopped dead in her tracks about a meter away from me.

Hello, I called out, hoping to break the impasse that's been going on and to let her know that I'm not to be scared of but I don't think it helped much as she ran off.

Still at least I've shown willing, I guess I've just got to wait until she's ready.

She's Looking So Bemused!

The lighter Naughty Twin still hasn't given birth yet.

I think she must be finding things very uncomfortable now, she's been wandering around everywhere trying to get into a place and position where she can just get some peace, she just can't seem to find anywhere where she can settle for long.

She's not chosen the best place though right in front of River who's going mad in the window barking at her to get her attention. Poor River just doesn't seem to understand though what's going on, she's looking so bemused!

As Cool As

Everyone is flagging in this heat and trying their best to keep as cool as possible. Twizzle and Mogsie have both got the right idea, find some shade and just sit still, even R's taken a leaf out of their book, according to Daddy this year is going to be the hottest Summer on record, glad I can't feel it anymore. Some advantages after all!

It Looks Like It Could Be A Goer!

I've just caught hold of George, he was having a little sit in the sun over at Tiny's and came straight over. He said he'd been hoping I was around today as he had some news about my plan to get Foxy Lectar involved in helping deter the new buyers of his home.

he said he'd run it by Bella, Sarah and the Naughty Twins last night and the general consensus was a mixture of excitement, the Naughty Twins of course, cautiousness from Sarah and hand clapping from Bella. 

He said he then ran it by Mogsie this afternoon who said he liked it and thought it had legs although he said he wanted to think a bit more about it before jumping in with both feet.

By the feedback so far it looks like it could be a goer!

Due Any Day

Wow the lighter Naughty Twin is very heavily pregnant now.

She's been walking around back and forth, up and down, I'm not sure if she's bored, uncomfortable, nesting or just trying to wind up River but she's managing that, poor little thing is going mad in the window trying to get at her.

Ah cat fun time, even when your due any day.

At The Moment! - Why Not Now?

Oh I was so glad that George popped by this evening I'd been wanting to speak to him about my idea about somehow getting Foxy Lectar involved in my brain wave plan in putting off the new owners of his house from moving in and as soon as I saw him walking up the pathway I ran out there to share my thoughts.

He looked at me as if I was mad at first but then I explained it was our best chance at keeping them all here and we were running out of options and time. 

I said I thought we had two options, either bargain with him to get him to help or trick him into it, us cats certainly have the cleverness to do that but it was probably the more riskier of the two. 

It was then that he stopped looking at me like I had lost all sense of reason and a small smile spread across his face. He said he would report it back but the more he thought about it the more he liked the idea. 

George then said that he had come over to tell  me what he had gleaned from Emma and Mogsie. Oh my with all this planing going on it had clean gone out of my head and my ears pricked up.

Emma, he said, had acted very strangely when he asked her, he thought she was surprised that I had asked him to ask her but she said she eventually responded and said she didn't know why, it was just her catty powers had kicked in and she couldn't shake the thought but that she didn't feel comfortable talking about it.

When he asked Mogsie, he got a straight reply that he can't communicate with me at the moment. George must have seen my heart drop a little, aside from George, Mogsie was the one I'd grown most attached to and the thought that he couldn't communicate with me hurt my deeply, I thought we'd had a deeper connection than that.

Pulling myself together I just wanted to spend time on my own and thanked George and said that I'd better get back in, that's when he stopped me.

No Lil' you don't understand. He said he can't communicate with you AT THE MOMENT!

I stopped in my tracks.

What do you mean? I asked

AT THE MOMENT! He didn't say he couldn't communicate with you just that he couldn't AT THE MOMENT!

So he could communicate with me, just not right now! That would explain the strange way he looked in my direction the other week but didn't say anything but that begets another question. Why not now? 

That's When I Had A Brain Wave, A Dangerous And Risky Idea

What a beautiful day it is in Catworld today, the sun is out and so are both the Naughty Twins, catching some sun while they can. I am so gonna miss them if they end up going and I've been thinking of some ways to try to keep them from moving.

I did think maybe on the day of their move that we could hide them somewhere maybe in the garage until their parents had gone but that would mean that somehow I would have to make sure that River is kept inside or she will give the game away and that's a near on impossible task unless somehow I can distract the Daddies from opening up the back door. If they could still see me it wouldn't have been so hard to do but as they can't it's near on mission impossible.

Then I mused some idea's about hiding them over the road, but everyone knows they go over there and so it's not such a good hiding place as it would be the first place people look.

Then I thought how could we put off the sale, more idea's along the lines that the Cat Council came up with but us cats are generally such gently beings that I don't think we would be able to create enough of a kerfuffle and that's when I had a brain wave, a dangerous and risky idea but a brain wave all the same.

Who was the most disruptive being around here, who could cause enough havoc to get the new owners to think again about buying their home, who is evil enough and carefree enough to go in and tear up the house enough to put the new people off. There was only one answer Foxy Lectar!

Oh There's Trouble At Mill

Oh there's trouble at mill, Mogsie and Doublay have just had a very fierce exchange of words. 

I'm not sure what kicked it off but Doublay approached Mogsie and Mogsie was not happy, instantly raising his heckles and getting right up in Doublay's face. A few words and cat calls later and Doublay backed down and away. Ooh I am curious as to what that was all about.

Out Of Luck

Chameleon's been sniffing around this evening, he must have cottoned on that Sarah has moved her buried treasures. Ha ha out of luck Chameleon, search all you want you gotta get up a lot earlier to fool us lot!

So Many Questions And Thankfully A Few Answers

Finally I know what is going on.

I spotted George meandering around across the road and called him over to ask what on earth was going on. So many questions I had for him;

1. Was the darker Naughty Twin avoiding me? - Yes he was at the moment, George said he was a little scared of coming across as they had talked about it but he said the he would, as he had important information for me.

2. What was the conclusion of the Cat Council meeting about the proposed house move - They were planning to sabotage the house sale. I asked how and they said they were still working on a plan but they did intend to make a lot of mess in their back garden the next time the new owners came around although there was a general feeling that they were putting off the inevitable, they weren't gonna go without a fight as no one wanted to move.

3. Did he know what Sarah had been up to? - Yes and this one shocked me. The little red dragon that we'd found all that time ago had some how mysteriously ended up in C's garden and Sarah had found it. How this had happened I had no idea but luckily Sarah had been the one to find it. George said that she's then buried it in the front until Chameleon had spotted her and the lighter Naughty Twin keeping such a close eye on it that she'd had to move it. It was his idea to move it to our back garden because of River being able to chase away any unwanted visitors. 

4. Did he know that Emma thinks that I've come back to somehow help her? - No he didn't know that but he was going to certainly see if she would speak to him about it, although because of the past difficulties within their relationship he wasn't sure how far he would get.

5. Could Mogsie communicate with me? - Again he wasn't sure, he said Mogsie had been playing his cards where I was concerned very close to his chest but he would try and get him on his own and find out and report back.

So many questions and thankfully a few answers. I'll see if I can think of another way to put off the house move, and I'll keep a very close eye on the little red dragon as well!

The Safest Place

It's another beautiful day here in Catworld, in some ways too hot, well not for me I don't feel the heat but for poor River who is flaked out on the sofa, too tired and hot to even move.

I decided to keep a watch over her, as I know she needs to keep a moderate temperature, from the window when I spotted Sarah over the other side of the road looking over here very intently.

When she started to make a move over here I thought that she was coming to try to communicate with me again but she walked up the side of the house. I followed her to see what she was up to and by the time I got to the back I saw she was in the back garden, a very brave move indeed, the doors open and River could have run out there any time.

Anyway there she was digging around in the space where Daddy had dug up a great big plant from yesterday. She was moving her buried treasures, clever cat, with River being around it's probably the safest place hardly anyone would have the courage to come in the garden to search, at least during waking hours!

I Think The Time May Be Coming

The darker naughty Twin has spent the last half an hour sitting over the other side of the road just staring in. 

I think the time may be coming closer to him opening up about what Troy Lamore told him, I do wish he'd just come over but I know these things can't be rushed.

Grave Times Indeed For Catworld

That was a long meeting but it's over now, I guess they have lots to discuss.

Doublay, Sarah, Twizzle and both the Naughty Twins have all come out although no sign of George, Bella, Emma or Mogsie yet.

I tired to catch Doublay's attention when he came out but he was too deep in conversation with Sarah and then the darker Naughty Twin who has still not come over to speak to me and the lighter Naughty Twin clearly wants time on his own as he's settled away from everyone else over on E's.

Grave times indeed for Catworld!

Something That Doesn't Often Happen

The lighter Naughty Twin was heading this way, I'm assuming to let me know what was going on even though at the moment she can't communication with me when Mogsie spotted her and chased over the road to catch her.

Now this is something that doesn't happen often, Mogsie chasing someone but in these urgent times urgent measures are needed and I over heard him saying to her that he was calling a cat council meeting straight away to see what can be done to prevent them from all having to move. She followed him immediately back over the road let's hope the cat council coming up with a plan, no one wants them to go anywhere!

The Sign We've All Been Dreading

It's been a beautiful day and I've spent most of it in the garden with River and the Daddies as they attempted to tame the jungle that's sprung up over the past two weeks.

I must say they all worked very hard, well the Daddies worked very hard, River seemed to spend most of the day just lazing around or trying to get their attention to play entertain her.

Anyway after hours of sweating and pulling and then a BBQ lunch they all came inside and flaked out that's when I spotted Mogsie on the other side of the road walking up the side of his house. He got to the end and glancing down the road suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. 

Something about his gate told me he wasn't too happy and I followed his gaze and that's when I saw it, the sign we've all been dreading, SOLD!

Oh no what are we going to do, George, the Naughty Twins and Bella are moving!

I'm Now Feeling A Little Lonely

The Daddies and River have been out all day and although it's nice to get some time on my own, a rarity these days it must be said, but they've been gone so long I'm now feeling a little lonely.

Luckily R is out the front playing with Twizzle and Mogsie, I'm so glad to have them both around, I always feel safe no matter what is going on when Mogsie's on patrol.

He Hung His Head In Shame

Everyone was settled down for the evening, the Daddies are getting excited about that show with the people living in a house who scream and shout at each other yep that's back on, when the way that River was acting as she looked out the window drew my attention. 

There over the other side of the road was Chameleon sitting by the side of R's car occasionally looking under at Sarah who appeared to be hiding away from him.

It didn't look like a good situation and I was about to run over there and jump in, I don't know what I could of done, I can't even dig in dirt at the moment, when out of nowhere Mogsie appeared.

 

He certainly wasn't go to having any of Chameleons intimidating behaviour and he was letting him know in no uncertain terms who manages Catworld. 

Mogsie confidently hissed at Chameleon who immediately hung his head in shame and backed down, walking around the corner before running as fast as his legs would carry him.

Well done Mogsie, I bet Chameleon was trying to get something out of Sarah about the buried treasures!

I've Not Mastered That Skill Yet

I'm still not sure what Sarah's up to but she's been acting suspiciously this afternoon running back and forth across the road, looking around to make sure no one is watching her, she she forgot all about me and I clocked the lot.

She has definitely buried something in our front garden, I saw her taking a peak on one of her trips over here and went out there after she'd gone to see if I could see what it was but unfortunately as hard as I tried I couldn't dig in the ground to see what she buried, I've not mastered that skill yet but I do have a plan.

Next time she takes a peak I'm going to go out there, as she can't communicate with me I should be able to sneak up on her and find out. It must be something very important the care she's taking over it!

Munchkin Is On One Tonight!

Typical, I've been waiting days for George to turn up so I can have a proper chat with him and who's around to scare him and anyone else who may venture this way.

Yep that's right, muchkin is on one tonight!

You Just Never Can Be Sure What They Are Up To!

I'm now beginning to think that whatever Sarah may have buried in the front garden may have something to do with Chameleon as he's been sitting across the road staring over here for ages. In any case it's producing a fair amount of interest, I'm beginning to think maybe the lighter Naughty Twin was keeping watch out for it especially since I've spotted Chameleon hanging around.

Now I've drawn up a list of why I think he is doing that;

1. Sarah has buried something that is his and has stolen and hidden it but that would be very unlike her.

2. Sarah has buried something that is of interest to him but as he's a member of The New Cat Crew it might not be his, or

3. He did come across here a while ago after hearing the rumor that I was back and maybe he's trying to see if he can spot anything about that, communicate with me, that sort of thing.

The problem is with any member of The New Cat Crew you just never can be sure what they are up to!
