Everyone But Who I Wanted

All day I've been up in the window waiting for George to show himself.

I've seen Mogsie amusing himself with some feathers on his lawn...

...and Sarah has made several dashes across the road, mainly at feeding times.









The lighter Naughty Twin has also passed by winding River up who can't get out to her but no George. That's two days running now, anyone would think he's avoiding me, which he is!

Keeping A Very Low Profile

Well George didn't turn up and I went out looking for him but couldn't locate him anywhere so I gave up when I Disappears Daddy came in and settled down to sit with them for the night. He's keeping a very low profile!

I was up early this morning though. he can't drop bombshells and not expect me to ask some questions. I mean what did he mean about River as well? 

Out I went on the search, the first I came across was Mogsie. I seriously thought about trying to get him to notice me but thought as in life it would probably fall on deaf ears and I wasn't ready to reveal myself yet. He did look fine though, nice my heart can still do the odd jump.

I went across the road right up to him to see if I could smell him, but no that's something else that's gone from me now and so I walked off over E's, George can hide out there sometimes, I've seen him.

Nothing but it was good to have a little look around and I saw the fox hole that it's been rumoured is over there.

On the way home the lighter naughty Twin sitting on C's lawn peering over the side of Catworld, taking not much notice of anything, pretty much a normal day in Catworld except then I spotted just for a second Sarah's head peeking around the corner. Obviously she didn't want to be seen but she wasn't doing a very good job of it. I must admit to feeling a little bit hurt by Sarah, she's been avoiding this house since I've gone, it can't be ignored any longer, she's got some sort of a problem and I intend to add that to the list of questions I've got for George, when he turns up!

This Is All So Serious That *Whispers*. Catkind Has Been Mentioned!

I really need to see George but he's keeping a low profile after yesterday.

It's yesterday that I want to talk to him about. How can you drop a bombshells that you've met Troy Lamore before without giving an explanation.

Oh no and not just satisfied with leaving me hanging with that little explosion he decided to tell me he's lost sight in one eye to help with some mission that I didn't know that I had come back from the other side for, we didn't meet by fate and that this is all so serious that *whispers*. Catkind has been mentioned!

If he isn't here by 3 I'm going searching!

Courage, Yes I Must Remember Courage

...and the magic was back!

I wandered around for a while, lost in my thoughts and trying to work out what had just happened. Everything was so confusing but I felt that I needed to listen to myself, it was so hard with cats calling out your name and yet we couldn't see each other.

The sun burst out from behind the clouds and hit the spinning yellow star high up above me. I followed it's light with my eyes, stopping where it hit a tree turning it's branches a myriad of colours, underneath sat an Owl.

Hello, it said.

No I must be hearing things, spending too much time on my own but it did get me thinking.

This was one mighty mission, one I never asked to me on and yet was somehow my fate.

My fate! Oh what was that trying to do to me, but I guess it touches everyone somehow. There you go thinking it's just you and yet it's affecting others around you to!

This was all so confusing but I knew that everything would be OK, a Rainbow Owl always appears to help and last time I saw one it was all about courage my lesson, courage, yes I must remember courage . So what did I need to learn this time?

Listen! LISTEN to your catty powers!

I tuned in and everything else went quiet, a swirl of random thoughts and miscellaneous colours passed through my mind. Round and round just like a great big loop, no a number of loops.

I swayed slightly forward and then suddenly it hit me. Simple as a slight feeling, my body was telling me what to do I must moved forward. That was quiet easy, things must be developing

Now, right, in what direction? So many questions but I'm not going to think too much about them, over thought can confuse the mind but I will remain reassured all answers and my pathway will be revealed in the times that's right.

Fate Lil' Fate, You And Your Mission - Catkind!

George turned up this morning and as River was asleep and Daddy upstairs I got the opportunity to sit down and have a proper chat with him about Flash and The New Cat Crew and with everything that's happened with me.

I still wanted it kept quiet for the moment, I was still getting used to things how they now were, being from the other side but suspicions were rising and maybe it was that rubbing off on everyone just because there had been a couple of sightings of Flash and Doublay had been a bit frisky.

George looked at me with surprise.

I asked him why and he said he would have thought that out of everyone I would have known how important it was.

I didn't know what he meant and asked him.

You and your mission, he said!

Well this was even more confusing, I didn't think I had a mission so asked him to clarify.

Do you really think you came back just because you wanted to? His face was stern, you had to.

No Lil' that's not the reason, you have a mission waiting for you!

I shook my head, now I was really confused.

It's been there all your life, it's one of the most vital importance for all of Catkind!

CATKIND! A little like you not saying that name in the theatre on opening night Catkind was a word that held the same reverence and folklore. It would only ever be whispered when there was the very highest danger to all of us, certainly not the sort of stuff that was going on with Flash and Foxy. This was serious!

George moved to get himself a little bit more comfortable and started;

Do you believe in fate Lil'?

Well yes I did, I believed that some things would happen and others wouldn't but that we were on a journey that took many twists and turns. Was fate a part of it or the destiny of it? That I didn't know, but I believed in things now, that just a month or so ago I wouldn't have.

Yes, I replied

Good it will help you on the next part of your journey. 

He paused

We didn't meet by fate Lil'.

What do you mean we didn't meet by fate, of course we did.

Oh you came here and we met but it wasn't fate. I've been waiting, keeping an eye out for you, not been easy I tell you, how do you think I got this weepy eye. Protecting you, I gave up some of the sight in one of my eyes so I could have better sight with my third eye. Why do you think that I can hear and sense you Lil' but none of the others can?

Well River can I know it.

Funny that! I looked at him in a different light.

What do you mean funny that!

Fate Lil' fate!

He wasn't going to give me a straight answer.

No I won't I can't, he said.

Hey how did you do that I didn't say anything.

Some thing's will happen and some won't.

Oh very clever!

You Lil' you've got an all together different set of eyes now, and abilities, just make sure you don't forget to explore them, you are going to need them later on.

He paused again, looking at me deeply in my eyes as if he could see me clear as day.

I met Troy Lamore before you ever came to live her Lil'. I was flabbergasted and sat there with my mouth open.

Remember Lil, what we did makes us who we are going to be! And with that he was off.

I'm Not Ready To Go Public Yet!

I think the darker Naughty Twin is cottoning on that somethings going on over here, I just caught her trying to peer in but pretending to look like she was sniffing the flowers.

I've got as feeling she may have sensed something as when I peered down to look closer at her she jumped a little, acting startled and then ran off.

I must talk to George about this I'm not ready to go public yet!

How I Know I Don't Know, I've Not Been Able To Do That In Ages

Saturday is here at last, it's been a long week and so when everyone got up I decided to have a bit of a lay in on my own but I couldn't get comfortable, it felt strange having the bed to myself and when I heard Daddy and River playing downstairs I thought I'd join everyone.

Daddy was playing teddy time with River. It's a game they play to show their love to each other. River licks Daddies face until he laughs and then he gently picks her up and throws her all over the place. She can be River in the sky with Diamonds, or flying River with the flappy wing ears or like this morning back and forth River weeee!

It was lovely to see and I wished for a second that I could play my favourite game with Stay Daddy, make you crawl along the floor to rub my tummy, but there's no point in dwelling on that too long, alas that can never be.

Then a beep, beep outside and the girl turned up. It was lovely to see her, she's always a bit psychically inclined so I decided to wait until she sat down and try blowing in her ear to see if she could feel me.

I knew I might as well sit down and wait, River was excited and was trying to rip her coat from her back.

I went and sat on the window ledge and just closed my eyes listening to them chat and I must have fallen asleep, how I know I don't know, that I fell asleep I mean, I've not been able to do that since I went to the other side. I suddenly came too when I heard River barking and the girl exiting the front door. Damn missed my chance!

Still I did spot Mogsie having a bit of a sniff around. What's he want?

If There's Nothing Else To Say What Can You Say?

I just jumped up on the window ledge to see what all the fuss River was making was about but didn't really get the chance as something told me to look to my right and I spotted George camouflaging himself with the flowers.

Our connection is getting stronger and stronger, instantly I heard him say Pstt round the back!

I quickly ran outside and found him lurking up the side of the house near the bins waiting for me.

There's been another sighting of Flash first thing this morning coming down the side of E's house I just wanted to let you know, he said

I asked him what happened and he said, I've just told you!

Oh, I thought there would be a little bit more information than that coming from him but still I suppose if there's nothing else to say what can you say?

It did give me a chance to talk to him about the undue paranoia regarding Spit and any other cats that we know are friends of Catworld but he insisted that Mogsie was very firm, there were to be no exceptions!

Oh dear everyone is under suspicion, I wonder if he knows something he's not letting on?

Suspicious Of Those We Trust

It's been concerning me all this paranoia around because of Flash and I've been watching out for George all day to be able to speak to him again about Mogsie's instructions to watch anyone that's not from these few houses.

I mean does that include Ginger cat, he's always been a trusted friend of Catworld?

George hasn't been around but I have spotted both Mogsie and the darker Naughty Twin on patrol, making their presence very much felt.

As much as he still makes me swoon each time I see him, even now, and that he only has the best interests of us all this is one time that I'm determined to make him understand that it's just wrong to be suspicious of those we trust, where will it all end?

Now I just need to catch George, oh where is he when you need him?

Past And Present

George has just dropped by with a bit of an update. There's been no sightings of Flash since I saw him the other day but Doublay was spotted running across C's garden first thing this morning.

I said to George that I thought Doublay had been eliminated from The New Cat Crew but George said the instructions from Mogsie were very clear, an eye out for any member past or present, and that included Doublay and Spit, must be reported back! No one not an original member or currently living in the street was to be watched closely.

Now I know a bit of suspicion has hung over Doublay's head but Spit really? He's definitely helped out us in the past and of course is the father of half the kids around here. This is one time that I must disagree with Mogsie, Spit is most certainly to be trusted I mean he's even got a collar now and has been adopted!

George said orders were orders!

Once A Member

Daddy has taken River out and I have the place all to myself and I was hoping I could have a proper conversation with George without being interrupted. Luckily George must have been keeping a bit of an eye out as almost as soon as they'd left he appeared on the door step.

I couldn't wait to find out what Mogsie had said about the re-appearance of Flash yesterday. George said that everyone was being put on amber alert and luckily he has been tasked with looking out over our garden as well, to make sure River wasn't going to be in any danger.

Wow that fair brought a tear to my eye, even though I wasn't around any more they were still all looking out for River, but then again us cats are loyal, once a member, even if it was an honorary member, of Catworld, always a member. It was also good as it gave George a good excuse to be over here more, the cats were beginning to become suspicious I spotted Sarah a little earlier nosing around and it wasn't at the gardening!

Spring I Think May Be My Favourite Time Of The Year

Oh the cats around here are so nosey!

Mogsie and both the Naughty Twins have been over this morning inspecting the work the Daddies have done on the garden, mind you I don't blame them I'm the same! 

Spring I think may be my favourite time of the year, the first warm day, the first sign of new blooms, the first BBQ and it was when I had my first flush of love towards Mogsie.

Yes I think Spring is my favourite time of the year.

I Remember

On the surface today is just like any other sunny Monday. Mogsie is having a bit of a morning stroll...

...the lighter Naughty Twin is looking around for some mischief to get up to...

...and River is out digging in the back garden getting herself very muddy!

But today isn't just like any Monday morning, today is March 10th and just like the Daddies I remember what today is. 

Daddy always says you've got to care to remember which is probably why the three of us will never forget. I just wish I could let him know but from this side there's little chance. I'm going to try really hard today to let him know I'm around, just for a bit of a boost, I think he could do with it today, I just wish I could give him a cuddle.

There's certain days in the year Stay Daddy never works, his birthday is one, he said he'd had enough of toughness on his birthday when he was a child having the indignity of having both Chemistry and Maths exams every year on his birthday throughout secondary school and today and will never work on his birthday again. March 10th is another, it's the day that Nanny went.

It's not a date I have to ring in my calendar, it's a date none of us three will ever forget!

What A Day It's Been, Full Of Visitors!

What a day it's been, full of visitors!

It all started off as a normal Sunday, Stay Daddy got up about 9 which is late for him and then Disappears Daddy got up as well almost straight away. I wasn't that surprised as the sun was out and I heard Daddy say it was going to be the hottest day of the year so far.

I followed them both down and jumped up on the table and then I spotted our first visitor of the day, Flash! 

Well you can image what was going through my mind and I watched him for ages slinking around. I may now be on the other side but it still doesn't stop me from keeping my eye out for everyone still here and now that I can finally communicate with George my instant thought was to let him know. Flash disappeared over the back fence, looking as suspicious as ever, there's always trouble when he's around and as much as I wanted to instantly run off and find George I thought it would be better if I just watched his movements to try and ascertain what he was up to.

After he disappeared I ran up to the front window to see if George was about and caught sight of Disappears Daddy talking to River telling her that some special visitors were going to come and see her today. He was doing his best to try and smarten her up, although she's a pretty little thing she's a bit of a tomboy as well and trying to keep her neat is a mammoth task in itself!

Not long after a car drew up and I saw the Daddymummy get out and there was another lady and a dog with her. I'd never seen this dog before but she looked small enough not to be too much trouble.

I wasn't the only one who spotted her arriving, the lighter Naughty Twin ran over the road to have a nose in.

In they all came, the Daddymummy, her friend S and the little dog, Izzy. 

River, never one to stand on ceremony instantly jumped on her and started trying to ride her back, Izzy didn't seem to mind much and joined in, once she got past the initial surprise!

I just sat next to Stay Daddy in the window watching all that was going on while keeping an eye out for George to tell him all about what I'd seen Flash up to but no sign of him so when they went outside I thought I would join them. There's no point in staying inside on my own on such a lovely day like today.

Round and round the garden they ran, like old friends. That's the thing with River she always makes everyone feel very welcome and special straight away, one of her more endearing qualities.

When everyone stopped for lunch I decided to sneak up on Izzy to get a closer look. I've only really got River as a point of reference when it comes to dog, oh yes and Twevor but then again he's a rather special dog and everyone loves Twevor!

I must admit she was very sweet, a little younger than River, I'm sure I heard S say that she was about 6 months old and so was new to their family. Bless her she must have been so tired out all that running around that she sought refuge under the Daddymummies chair.

But not for long, River had a play mate and she wasn't going to waste much time in rest and started to chase her around the garden again. Still I approve, she seems like she could be a good influence on River, calming influence I mean.

I thought I'd head back in, a couple of hours had surpassed and maybe George was around, it was a beautiful day after all and most cats of Catworld love a play out in the sun.

Yes fantastic, there he was waiting for me by the time I got to the window. I started to tell him about Flash and what I had seen but got interrupted when everyone came in and River and Izzy spotted him.

Luckily Stay Daddy spotted him too and opened the door and laid out a few Dreamies for him to enjoy. He said he would go over straight away and pass the news on and true to his word that's exactly what he did, heading straight over to see Mogsie.

M and R came out, probably to get a bit of a tan themselves, and spotted them talking so to divert attention George and Mogsie pretended to square up to each other as if to start having a fight. Twizzle was with then and stepped in to break up the pretend fight but I'm sure George must have let her know what was going on too. I can hardly wait for tomorrow to find out from George what Mogsie said about the situation. I do miss talking to him but I'm still not ready to reveal all to the rest of Catworld yet.

GT Needs To Watch Her Back, Evil Olive Is Planning A Take Over!

GT needs to watch her back, Evil Olive is planning a take over!

GT found Olive fiddling with her internet connection and when she got caught she put her bottom in her face to try to distract her away from the phone call she was on. Sounds like she's trying to cut off all outside forms of communications to me and a classic case of displaying utter contempt!

GT then needed to pop out and when she came back Olive started screaming at her, a sure sign she's trying to un-nerve her and get GT to walk on egg shells around her, classic controlling behaviour.

Finally Olive pretended to get caught behind the toilet pipe and when GT managed to get her out she was covered in dirt and dust and things. I think she's after trying to get social services involved.

GT really needs to be careful, I'm worried for what's next, if GT isn't careful a full possession will occur!

Should Have Guessed It Would Be Chaos

What a beautiful day it is in Catworld, the sun is out and shining hot. I overheard the Daddies talking about getting out in the garden and even though I know I won't be able to feel the heat I can enjoy the sun so decided to join them.

Tasks assigned, Disappears hoovering the grass and Stay pulling up weeds out they went and out I followed.

Of course baby didn't want to be left out and whinged in the window until Stay went and got her reigns and brought her out there with them. Last time he did this she slipped out of them and did a runner down the road so I thought I'd better keep close by, she has no fear that one.

Should have guessed it would be chaos. Bag and River's lead in one hand and the other trying to pull up weeds while trying to differentiate between a weed and a flower it wasn't long before River got bored and started playing about jumping on and off the wall at one point landing right on Daddy squatting down so he landed on his bottom.

Still he persevered, I would have given up especially when River decided she'd like to take the rubbish out of the bag and scatter it over the lawn.

Eventually he did when River decided it was time to play race track around the lawn and get her lead all knotted up around his legs and then try and chase the lighter Naughty Twin who popped over to see what was going on.

Still the garden looks good and I managed to get some sun on my back. Ahh lovely!

I Bet She Regretted Using That Word

Oh dear poor lady in the Post Office, when will people learn not to take Stay Daddy on, he'll only use their own words back on them.

I was sitting down on the sideboard watching Alo swimming around when I heard the car draw up, nothing unusual in that. Then he came in and gave Disappears Daddy a big package and started recalling what had just happened as Daddy opened some lunch box thing he'd ordered.

He had to go to pick it up because the lady that came yesterday didn't leave it. OK no problems so far.

Stay said he went in the sorting office and gave them the card they'd left and his ID and the lady said to him that she couldn't accept it.

Daddy asked why and she said that it was because it was a utility bill and they didn't accept them.

Daddy pointed out that it wasn't a utility bill but a credit card statement from the bank.

The lady said that the Post Office classed credit card statements as utility bills, Daddy said he pointed out that it was from a BANK and not a utility service.

The lady said they were having a clampdown and couldn't accept it.

Daddy said he said in that case could they have a clampdown on their staff so that his post arrives before 4.30 in the afternoon and have a clampdown on the attitude of their van delivery staff as the mardy lady that came yesterday looked up and saw him in the office as he waved at her indicating to leave it but she stormed off anyway. I bet she regretted using that word.

Daddy said he once again pointed out that the ID in front of her was from a BANK, had the address on it that matched the delivery address information and this weeks date on it and that it shouldn't be a problem so he'd like to take his package now or have it delivered between 8 and 9 on Monday morning, WITH A SMILE!

When will people learn?

Thank Goodness For Photo's

Oh my goodness!

Disappears Daddy is out tonight, I heard Stay Daddy talking to him and saying he would see him later. River was playing Daddy up, she's having what Daddy calls lady times and I thought I'd go and sit next to him to try and give him some moral support, there's not a lot I can do from here but I can at least be around him.

Anyway when he finally managed to get River to settle down and go to sleep he opened up the computer and started going through his files trying to tidy them up and get rid of duplicates. He's got an awful lot of photo's and he was taking ages to go through them. The trouble is when he starts he ends up spending just as much time looking at them as he does getting rid.

He went way back, I guess there was a lot of tidying up to do. Although I wasn't paying much attention suddenly I heard a big ah coming from him and focused. There right in front of me was a picture of me cuddling Charlie and then another of me with Charlie and one of my girls.

Oh the love flooded over me and the memories can flooding back. I think they did for Daddy too because he just kept the pictures up there for ages smiling. I hated that collar and was so glad it was only on for when the kids where little.
